
Frames
We fit our shutters in three different ways, using either:
1. Hanging strips,
2. Z frames or
3. L frames.
The sizes of all frames depend on the size of the blades. The hanging strip is our most popular fitting method as it makes the shutters look less bulky and can make the shutters integrate seamlessly with the window. The Z frames are a good solution when shutters are being fitted onto the edge of a recess either with or without a window sill. They offer a good solution to cover any irregular shaped openings such as out of plumb or square walls to imperfect plaster finishes. The L frame is a good solution when shutters are fitted onto the face of the wall and the edges of the shutters do not want to be seen, this can however make the installation look a little bulky.
