PEtrus Restaurant
The New England Shutter Company has designed and manufactured bespoke shutters for the recently re-opened Pétrus restaurant in London's Knightsbridge. Part of the Gordon Ramsay group, the new Pétrus has spectacularly luxurious interiors, designed by Russell Sage.
Working to Russell Sage and ISG's brief for shutters with a "commercial" feel, The New England Shutter Company developed a unique design of extra wide panels with deep bottom rails and sub-stiles. Mounted on sliding tracks, the shutters screen the extensive glass facade of the building, allowing muted natural light to form part of the interior ambience.
As part of our specialist service to specifiers, Nick Garratt (Founder Director, The New England Shutter Company) produced detailed CAD drawings and finish samples for approval before the commission went ahead.
In keeping with the luxury interior finishes and Russell Sage's background palette of oysters and silvers, the blades of the shutters are finished in Baby Ostrich Fawn Majilite. The rails and stiles are painted in a matching paint colour; RAL 1019.
